SEEKING THE HOLINESS OF GOD

In order to live a Holy life, we must understand what Holiness is-God’s pure character and nature (mercy, grace, sacrifice, humility, obedience, compassion, unconditional love and acceptance) and the Fruit of the Spirit. To understand Holiness, we must see Jesus in his Royalty and Majesty. We must know Truth as we spend time in His Word and prayer.

During our time together, we will discuss what keeps us from walking in Holiness – sin, pride, envy, unforgiveness, materialism, lack of discipline, and lack of repentance. This conference will help you understand the significance of the cross and the resurrection of the Savior, as you enter into the Most Holy of Holies and enter into relationship with Christ. As you choose to walk in Holiness, your life will never be the same again.

WHAT TO DO WITH THE HURTS YOU DON’T DESERVE

Everyone has been hurt by someone and we have all hurt others as well. In order to heal from these hurts you have to acknowledge the pain in your life. A person’s hurts come from various sources throughout their lifetime and manifest in:

• Low self-esteem
• Depression
• Anxiety
• Perfectionism
• Powerlessness
• Defensiveness
• Superficial relationships
• Guilt
• Shame
• A critical spirit
• Inability to trust
• Anger
• Loneliness

Allow Him to set you free.Our hurts may occur in our marriages because of the lack of respecting each other, lack of communication, and unmet needs and expectations. Many times the hurts are the results of an affair or the ending of a marriage. Perhaps your child is not walking with the Lord in spite of your prayers and godly modeling. Maybe your hurts are the result of being betrayed by a friend or family member that you have always loved and trusted. For some the hurt comes from unfulfilled dreams or disappointments. Many times these are the results from our poor choices and we can’t forgive ourselves.

ESTABLISHING A CHRIST-CENTERED MARRIAGE

God’s plan for love and marriage can only be experienced on an intimate and spiritual realm. He ordained marriage to be between a man and woman and experience a unique type of love that leads to oneness. Many marriages never live out God’s plan for marriage because of lack of communication, lack of friendship, lack of intimacy and romance, unfulfilled needs and expectations, finances and family problems. This conference will look at God’s Biblical perspective on marriage, teach you how to remove barriers, handle conflict, restore love and communicate effectively. This conference will take a look at various types of abuse (sexual, physical, mental/emotional) and its’ effects. We will examine commonly used coping mechanisms (denial, rationalization, minimizing, gambling, pornography, alcohol, and drug addiction) used in trying to escape the pain that results. We will look at how to maximize life through healthy living (self-discipline, eating healthy, and exercise). You will receive hope and healing as you learn how to live a meaningful life, based on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

“My walk with Christ began at age eleven when I committed my life to Him. This is an exciting relationship that continues to develop with each passing day. For many years the Christian life for me was simply attending church on a regular basis, praying, and living a good moral life. But it was not until a life-threatening illness overtook my body and my world fell apart that I came to understand what it truly meant to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It was during this difficult time of living in isolation, fighting to survive, and finally totally relinquishing my life to Him, that Christ became real to me in ways I never before dreamed possible.
